Wisconsin Political Leaders Fellowship

9-Months of Leadership Training, Coaching and Mentoring

The Wisconsin Political Leaders Fellowship is a nine-month, part-time leadership development program for a select group of

organizational leaders, future candidates, community organizers, and progressive activists across the state.

Through training, coaching, project-based work and mentoring, the program provides Fellows with the skills and networks they need to advance progressive political and policy change in their communities.

The Fellowship is designed to fit the schedules of working professionals through five main components:

  • Five Weekend Workshops
  • Regular one-on-one and Small Group Coaching
  • Project-based Learning
  • Mentorship
  • Political Networking

Fellowship Fee
The cost of the Political Leaders Fellowship is $1,050.  This fee covers all training costs and materials, individual and group coaching, food and facilities.  Fellows are responsible for travel and lodging costs during workshop weekends.  Partial scholarships and payment plans are available to accommodate our Fellows to the best of our ability.  Credit cards and checks are accepted.

A Comprehensive Experience

The Fellowship aims to change the way emerging leaders think about and practice leadership.  Workshops are conducted by national experts, guest trainers and statewide community leaders who draw out the experience, talents, and expertise of each participant, while encouraging new ways of thinking and exercising leadership.  Our curricula and coaching sessions are crafted to challenge Fellows to reflect critically and to discover new lessons and ways to enhance their progressive leadership and create positive changes in their communities.

The Center for Progressive Leadership is committed to building leadership that embodies the full diversity of Wisconsin’s communities. Fellows come from a wide array of backgrounds and communities, as well as from all over the state.
