Pennsylvania Conference for Young Progressive Leaders

March 25th-26th - Philadelphia, PA - Register Today!

 

 

The Center for Progressive Leadership, the United States Students Association and Young People For are sponsoring the Pennsylvania Conference for Young Progressive Leaders, a 2-day training conference for young campus and community leaders across the state. This conference will allow you to develop both the skills it takes to engage other young voters in the voting process and the connections you need to get involved in Pennsylvania.

 

Discussion topics and skills covered during the conference will include:

  • Tools of Young Voter Education
  • Youth Voting: Election Laws and How to Make them Work for Us
  • New Strategies for Getting out the Vote
  • Developing a Progressive Message That Engages Youth
  • Campaign Strategies and Planning

At the Pennsylvania Conference for Young Progressive Leaders, you will hear from and talk to experienced local political activists and participate in hands-on training sessions that will allow you to develop the core skills necessary to effectively engage other young voters in the voting process.

  • Times: Saturday: 9:15am – 6:00pm, Sunday: 9:15am – 5:00pm

  • Cost: $20 with online payment by March 23th; $25 after March 23rd or at the door

The conference is open to all young progressive leaders, whether you're a campus or community activist, who wants to connect with other young leaders and build the power of young voters across the state.
