We are working to reshape the political landscape of Ohio by recruiting, training, and building a strong and developed pipeline of emerging, progressive leaders.
Our focus is long term leadership development programs – currently the Political Leaders Fellowship and New Leaders Program.

Ohio Political Leaders Fellowship
The Ohio Political Leaders Fellowship is a 9-month, part-time program that provides long-term resources and skills necessary for emerging leaders to become powerful political advocates for their communities – including training, coaching, mentoring and networking.
The average age of participants is 37 years old – ranging from mid-20s to mid-70s thus far. Typically, Fellows have at least 4 years experience doing professional progressive political and policy change work, and many have much more experience. The application is now open.

Ohio New Leaders Program
CPL Ohio’s New Leaders Program identifies and recruits talented, diverse youth who are interested in careers working toward political and policy change. The average age of participants is 20-30 years old. Typically, New Leaders have 0-2 years experience.
The New Leaders Program application for 2010 has passed, but please check back for a new application for 2011 coming later this year.
