CPL Arizona is helping to build the foundation for the next generation of progressive leaders. Through a cadre of programs, collaborations and partnerships, we are working to reshape the political landscape of Arizona by recruiting, training, and building a strong and developed pipeline of emerging, progressive leaders.

2010 Local Progressive Candidate Training

The 2010 Local Progressive Candidate Training is designed to prepare progressive individuals who are planning or considering to run for an elected office in the near or distant future.  This training program also provides important insights and direction for individuals who are or will be serving as a campaign manager.

This six-part comprehensive training program provides the nuts and bolts of what it takes to win and explores the values of running as a candidate committed to advancing progressive policies.

2010 Arizona Political Leaders Fellowship

The Arizona Political Leaders Fellowship is a nine-month, part-time leadership development program for a select group of organizational leaders, future candidates, community organizers, and progressive activists across the state.

If you're interested in becoming a part of the 2011 Political Leaders Fellowship, you can fill out Part 1 of the application process today.

About CPL in Arizona

CPL Arizona is training individuals at every level of political involvement, from campaign staffers and community organizers to future candidates and non-profit directors.

The continued success of CPL depends heavily on the input, participation and support we receive from individuals and organizations from around the state.  There are a variety of ways you can be involved.  These include:

  • Serving as a nominator for our Fellowship Program
  • Volunteering as a Mentor or Program Trainer
  • Partnering with CPL
