Profession: Manager of Fund Development at ACLU-Arizona Chapter

Fellowship Track:  Non-Profit Organization Leadership

Motivation: Despite the best of intentions (and sometimes in lieu of them), the American political system can have adverse effects on the very people they are trying to serve.  One of the ways to rectify this is through advocacy and public service.  My political vision reflects a reverence for the community I serve and the willingness to work towards a positive change in that community.  Furthermore, because non-profits are non-political and issue oriented, I can avoid the trappings of partisan political discourse and focus on meaning societal change.

Leadership Interests:  Being an executive director of a non-profit organization would allow me to positively contribute to our political system.
