Motivation:  I have always been interested in issues that have and will shape our future.  My motivation is derived from my concern of the direction our country is taking.  I have read about and witnessed many great leaders and some not so great.  I’d like to emulate the positive and correct the deficiencies.  I believe that the American population is getting despondent about politics as a whole and is in need of government transparency as well as leaders that practice emotional intelligence when assessing the needs of the people.

Leadership Interests: Initially, I would like to be involved in a grassroots or community involved-type position.  Ultimately, I would like to become an Organizational Leadership Consultant.  I believe my military experience, my involvement with the Arizona Department of Emergency Management and my academic goals coincide and complement this goal.
