Chad Campbell

2010 Arizona Faculty

Chad Campbell is a Phoenix native and lifelong resident of Arizona.  He grew up in District 14, and as your State Representative is committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe.

He has led the fight in cracking down on graffiti and gang crimes. He has sponsored and passed legislation enacting tougher penalties and community service for graffiti crimes, as well as sponsoring legislation requiring lifetime tracking of gang members. Chad has passed legislation to improve in-home care services, protect critical fuel facilities from security threats, and increase the use of solar energy.

Chad Campbell has also fought to improve our schools, defend consumers, improve Clean Elections, and protect our civil liberties and freedoms.  In addition to his duties as a legislator, Chad also serves on the Phoenix Environmental Quality Commission, and the Boards of Directors for Communities in Schools of Arizona, the Latino Leadership Institute, and the Center for Progressive Leadership.

After just two years in the House, Chad was elected to serve in the House Democratic Leadership as the Caucus Whip.   He also serves on the House Commerce Committee and as the Democratic Ranking member for the House Government Committee.

During this year's budget crisis, Chad has been a leader in advocating for fair and structural tax reform that will save Arizonans' money, close corporate tax loopholes, and close our budget deficit.
