CPL's New Leaders Program identifies and recruits talented, diverse youth who are interested in careers working toward political and policy change.

 

The New Leaders program is currently being run in Washington, D.C., as well as Pennsylvania.

 

Pennsylvania New Leaders

CPL Pennsylvania's New Leaders Program identifies and recruits talented, diverse youth who are interested in careers in progressive organizations working toward political and policy change. CPL provides intensive leadership and skills training, as well as mentorship and networking opportunities over the course of the program.

 

DC New Leaders Internship Program

CPL’s DC New Leaders Internship Program brings young people from underrepresented communities across the country with a demonstrated passion for progressive change to Washington D.C. every summer for paid, on-the-job experience in a top progressive organization, leadership training, coaching, networking and community building.

 

DC New Leaders Fellowship

The New Leaders Fellowship is a six-month part-time leadership and professional development program that provides young progressives who are working for social change with the opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills and deepen their networks in the progressive movement. Fellows will participate in training, coaching, project based work, networking and mentoring. .
