NETWORK TRAININGS

Network Trainings are innovative new training programs that use online resources to deliver skills training to local grassroots activists all over the country through house parties and other community events.

The trainings use a combination of a training video, conference call, and practice skills sessions that not only help develop the skills of progressives but provide an opportunity for activists and organizers from different campaigns, organizations, and communities to come together.

Each Network Training includes a core training video. Watch a trailer from our "Impacting the Media" video (flash required).

You can also download a Windows Media Player version of the movie here.

You can also order copies of CPL's training DVDs here.

Network Trainings also rely on some of the country's leading progressive organizers including Kristen Grimm, Sharon Lettman, Ivan Frishberg, Malia Lazu, Gabriela Lemus, Jessy Tolkan, Marie-Therese Dominguez, Iara Peng, Sultan Shakir, and other experienced activists.

The Center for Progressive Leadership hosts live, national Network Trainings throughout the year. There are currently none scheduled but check back regularly to see when the next one will be; however, you can also download previous Network Trainings and run them yourself at any time.
