Having trouble logging on to Outlook or the CPL File Server? You may need to change your password. To do so please follow the steps below:

Update Expired Password

  1. Click here to open a browser window where you can update your password (note - will open a new browser window so you can keep these instructions up).
  2. Enter the following information:
    1. Login using your existing email credentials
    2. If your password has expired you will be prompted to update your password.
    3. Enter Old password: The current password you have been using
    4. Enter A New password: A new password that must meet the following requirements: Not be the same as your last 3 passwords; be at least 6 characters long; not contain your first or last name as part of the password; and contain at least 3 out of 4 of the following types of characters: Upper Case Letters, lower case letters, numbers (0, 1, 2...) or symbols (!, @, #...).
    5. Confirm new password: Re-enter your new password
  3. Click OK.
  4. You should get a message that your password was successfully changed. If you get an error message that your password did not meet complexity requirements, try again following the instructions above.
  5. If you still have problems please contact the CPL Technology Department - we can change you password for you on the mail server.

 

Standard Change Password Process

  1. Click here to open a browser window where you can update your password (note - will open a new browser window so you can keep these instructions up).
  2. Enter the following information:
    1. Login using your existing email credentials
    2. Once you have logged in look to the right side to the page for the "Change Password" link and click
    3. A secondary window will pop up.
    4. Enter Old password: The current password you have been using
    5. Enter A New password: A new password that must meet the following requirements: Not be the same as your last 3 passwords; be at least 6 characters long; not contain your first or last name as part of the password; and contain at least 3 out of 4 of the following types of characters: Upper Case Letters, lower case letters, numbers (0, 1, 2...) or symbols (!, @, #...).
    6. Confirm new password: Re-enter your new password
  3. Click OK.
  4. You should get a message that your password was successfully changed. If you get an error message that your password did not meet complexity requirements, try again following the instructions above.
