Steve Masters, a CPL alumnus, is the Board President of Brit Tzedek v'Shalom, the largest grassroots pro-Israel, pro-peace organization in the country, and a lifetime activist in the Jewish movement.
David Grande, an alumnus from CPL's 2006 Pennsylvania Political Leaders Fellowship, is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, a co-founder of the National Physician's Alliance and was a policy advisor for Michael Nutter's mayoral campaign.

In all of our programs, CPL is committed to
developing a generation of future leaders that
reflects the diversity of our nation's communities.
To that end, we recruit heavily from minority
communities for every one of our programs.
Each trainee works with experts, seasoned professionals, elected officials, and trainers to develop their personal leadership skills in each of CPL’s programs.

Our programs focus on political skills like running for office, managing organizations
and campaigns, fundraising and delivering a
compelling message; however, the program also
focuses on personal development like
becoming a better speaker, expanding your personal
fundraising base, leading from your own values,
and more.
In addition, trainees have the opportunity
to meet and work with some of the top political
and organizational leaders from across the
state.
